Goodreads asked I.R. Guida:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

I.R. Guida I got the idea for my book "El caso Kovalenko" (I've written it in Spanish. In the next few months, I'll be translating it into English) while living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is because there are many families of different origins there, including Ukrainian families.
Therefore, I had the idea of writing about a Ukrainian man living in Buenos Aires, whose secrets were so well guarded that they were buried in his own grave, and about his son, the main character of the adventure, who tries everything within his reach to uncover them and thus save the most important person in his life.
