Grab a computer with a word processing application or grab a pen + paper.
Step 2:
Start writing.

You are now, in this moment, a writer.
Everyone starts out a bit scared, a bit unsure of themselves, etc. You WILL get better if you write and write consistently. Start writing today. You'll thank yourself 6 months from now.
