Hi Is the "Vampire Academy" series connected to the "Bloodlines" series? I want to start reading both series, but I don't know which to read first. I've watched the Vampire Academy movie, but from what I've read, the books are a much better (although I think the movie was quite good, too). So please help me P.S. No spoilers, please!

Vampire Academy comes first, the Bloodline series is next, it's based on different characters from the VA. Read it, you'd enjoy both

Vampire Academy series comes first, then Bloodlines series. Bloodlines focuses on other characters from the Vampire Academy Series. The books are much better, but i did think the film was pretty good and i hope they do the next one.

Yes, Sydney from the Vampire Academy is in Bloodlines. It's basically her life. The vampire academy series comes before the bloodlines series.

Vampire Academy comes first, but I, personally, read the Bloodlines series first. Bloodlines elaborates more on the characters that are only briefly mentioned in the Vampire Academy series, such as Sonya Karp and Eddie.

yea VA comes first because i read Bloodlines first it still made sense but it didn't at the start when Sydney Sage was being yelled at about what she did to help the damphir Rose Hathaway

i recommend reading the vampire academy series first, as it is about some characters from the books

I recommend you reading The Vampire Academy first since that is the correct sequence. The Bloodlines series are built off of the VA, and you learn the history of their society in the VA as well.
