My question is related to others here- does the sailing technical jargon get any easier to read thru? Or will I have to prop my eyes open for "..by clinging to the futtock-shrouds, which run from the catharpings near the top of the mast to the futtock-plates at the outer edge of the top" for the whole read? I am not interested in sitting there with a parallel glossary of naval terms. Will it get better?
