Perspective. When I read a book, watch a movie, or enjoy any other form of story, I'm not just watching the story unfold. I know what goes into it so I kind of dissect it? It sounds like it would ruin the fun, but I really enjoy picking apart stories and chatting through what worked, what didn't, and what I would do differently. Don't go to movies with writers if you can help it.
