Hello Rick! How do you think Ares would react to one of his children not following in his footsteps? I'd love to write a fic on it, exploring the relationship between a parent and a kid who is fighting with expectations. Do you think there's a possibility Ares would eventually be supportive? Or is there no hope for a bond there? Thank you for all that you do!

It's a good question. I'm not sure! That would be an interesting relationship to explore. I think the closest I came to writing such a dynamic was with Frank and Mars. Maybe that will provide some hints into what Ares/Mars is or isn't capable of.

Won't the Kane Chronicles have an adaptation (movie-series-something)? It's my fav saga and I'm sure it would be easier to put on screens than Percy Jackson and his 10 books. I would also like to know if you are planing to release (at some point) a book with the short stories that mixes both Greek and Egyptian worlds. -btw, I apologize if my English is not the best-

Hey, Mr. Riordan, I want to say that the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson was just *chief's kiss* brilliant. So since Percy Jackson is under Disney, do you think it'll have it's own place in the park? like how they have Marvel-inspired rides at Disney; would they have one for Percy Jackson? Maybe they could do the Tunnel of Love because that'd be cool, and one last question: do you think they'll sell merchandise?
