How do you deal with writer’s block?

Devin Cabrera I deal with writers block by starting off with an outline that details some important events that happen throughout the book. If I find myself stuck on a particular section of the book, I just move to one of the other chapters, where I already know in my mind what's going to happen. By the time I'm finished or stuck on that chapter, I will have found a way out of the dilemma on the first chapter I was struggling with.

Or I move on to an entirely different story, coming back to the original years later and imagining what could have been.
