What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Jacky Lang Writing gives me an outlet for the ideas that are always swirling around in my head. The writing process has helped me build discipline and structure in other parts of my life. However, the very best part of writing so far has been knowing that I've produced something that readers enjoy. Hours of keyboard time and frustration just fade when I see that one positive review or comment.
