Hello Uncle Rick! I've heard that many people start writing by trying to imitate their favorite authors' writing styles. Did you ever try doing that when you started to write? Who were your favorite authors?

Oh, sure. My earliest attempts at writing were basically Lord of the Rings fan fiction, though back then, we didn't have that term, and thankfully we didn't have the internet to post things on either, so no one but me ever read them.

Hi Mr. Riordan! Do you think that your imprint (RRP) will be able to do movie adaptations? I really like the Storm Runner series and the book that Sarwat Chadda wrote was so awesome and cool. Many stories have really great potential as movies overall. Just curious because I see a lot of book series getting adapted for shows on Disney Plus. With kind regards, Will.
