Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Deepak Menon "SKYMERGE", a Sci Fi Epic about interplanetary travel, adventure is my latest book. I thought about it over 20 years ago when it became evident that with global warming being what it is,mankind is heading towards extinction here on Earth. Now, with the great advancement in technology, particle and astrophysics, it was time to write and publish the book. I think that it is plausible for man to travel to the stars and reach within his lifetime and the human genome will not vanish! So I finally wrote this 336 Page Novel of over a hundred thousand words. I am sure that it will be a movie one day, but I have no agent and not even a screenplay! Someday someone will notice this book and make it into the best Sci Fi Movie of interstellar travel ever .. and that is the dream I live with!
