Hi Jane! I greatly enjoy reading your books. My question is:Some authors say they just start writing and the books just flow out of them. Others take the characters and write different scenes then tie them together to make a book. Which do you do?

Jane Green I write in a linear fashion - come up with the characters, the theme, the plot, then start at the beginning and keep going until I hit the end!

I'm studying Creative Writing at University and was told that 'Writers block' doesn't really exist. Do you ever experience this? I know I sometimes sit down to write after having lots of ideas and suddenly I can't think of anything to write!
