Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

FROM A MORAL STANDPOINT, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE EXPRESSION "THE END RESULTS JUSTIFY THE MEANS."?

Glynnis Campbell Unless you're talking about saving someone's life by forcing them into rehab or shoving a pill down a cat's throat to make it better, I don't think the end usually justifies the means. For example, you can acquire wealth by earning it or stealing it, and those aren't morally equal. (Incidentally, I feel the same way about authors using artificial intelligence. Sure, you can crank out a book a week using A.I., but that's not morally the same as earning those words with your own blood, sweat, and tears.)
