Hi, I’ve been reading the blackthorn key books since i was in 5th grade (am now a sophomore in high school) and they have genuinely become a part of my life. If you (hypothetically) were to make a 7th, would we get to see more of Christopher and Sally’s romantic relationship?

Probably, though it would likely only show up in a minor way, same as the previous books. The focus of my stories will always be the plot.

I've read all the books in The BlackThorn Key series so far and I can't wait for the sixth book. I've recently finished the fifth, The Traitor's Blade and it was amazing! I'm still thinking about it. If you were two take two themes from the book, what would they be and why?

I love that middle grade fiction is often smarter than most stories churned out for adults. It's able to tackle complicated topics without attempting to be gratuitously gritty, & usually weaves in humour. The Blackthorne Key works are right up there among other standout series like Nevermoor, Prosper Redding, and The Forbidden Library, to me! Wondering what worlds/books have been your own favourite to slip into?

So, I am a super huge fan of The Blackthorn Key series. I literally can’t stop reading it over and over again! But, in the 5th book, towards the end, I notice you state, “Only one more to go.” Meaning there will be a 6th book, which ends the series. I know there is a very sly chance of you continuing after the 6th book, but if you do, will the author’s note of the 5th book really make sense?
