This can be read before any of the other books in the Nyaxia series as this is a standalone novel set in the Nyaxia world. But the author mentioned on her Instagram that these characters will play a major role in the future installments. Plus reading the Nightborn duet will give more insight into the world. I personally highly recommend The Nightborn Duet. It's really good with the perfect balance between the plot and the romance. Hope this helps!
