Confused about the timeline. So prologue was new years day 1959, but Percy finds the family's bodies on Xmas Eve 1959. I read it like the stranger on the driveway was the killer, is it actually 12 months before the murder and I've just read it wrong? I'm about 100 pages in so apologies if it makes it clearer down the line, thanks!
