In Tempting Fate, the theme of forgiveness underscores the plot. Do you feel that not only your characters, but people in general, are capable of forgiveness on such a grand scale? And does that theme continue in Saving Grace?

Jane Green I would like to think so...I think we have a tendency in these times to be increasingly judgmental, but acceptance and forgiveness is so often the key to finding peace. I am interested in people's flaws, in why they do what they do, and very aware that we are all human and all make mistakes. Saving Grace does not have the forgiveness theme in quite the same way as Tempting Fate...
