Hi Patti, Just read your comment about Lev Raphael. I'm enrolled in his Memoir workshop and trying to decide what's next. Should I sign up for another workshop, repeat his memoir workshop, or (my preference) ask him begin editing my novel? As a new writer, did you jumping in with both feet and ask him begin editing your novel or did you do a lot of workshops and practice exercises first?

P.J. Nakfoor Hello! Thank you for your question! Lev edited both of my novels--I had done minimal workshops prior (two or three)--nothing very extensive. The way I approached it was to write a third or fourth draft of each, until I couldn't improve it any more. He then edited chapter by chapter and I made final changes based on that. Both novels were made much better with his input. Lev loves to educate and encourage newer authors, which I much appreciated. Good luck! : ) Patti
