After such a harrowing journey, I'm taking a break from the briny world of Cinnamon and Gunpowder. I have made some notes for a possible prequel-- an account of Hannah Mabbot's journey toward becoming a pirate, but for the time being I'm focusing on an entirely different project. If you're still in the mood for food-centered literature, you might check out my quirky, homespun, culinary experiment, The Feasts of Tre-mang. I'm totally in love with pirates and food. When I read your Cinnamon and Gunpowder I was literally enthusiastic and it became one of my favourite book ever. I would like to read more about the story, or... everything else by you. Unfortunately, I'm from Italy: there will be translations of your books in Italian? I can't find it on the web. Sorry for disturbing you and for my terrible English.
