Has anyone else been able to work out what was actually happening with Datura, the trench, the Voyager signal, the propulsion system coming to people 'in dreams' etc? I understand that Leigh's mission ended with them going back in time, seeding life on Earth and cyclically being the trench anomaly that Leigh initially investigates. Not sure I understand why or how any of the rest ties in. Is there a clear answer?
