Leigh Russell This is something I'm frequently asked, and I could write a book on the subject. The most important advice I can give is to write what you enjoy writing. If you are thinking of submitting your manuscript to an agent or publisher make sure your manuscript is as good as it possibly can be. Remember you only have one chance to impress.
