What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Jeffrey Marsh I adore this question! As a Buddhist, I travel a lot. But I don't go on trips. It is my great pleasure (and one of my most beloved accomplishments) that I have traveled almost everywhere a human can go *within themselves.* I travel to all parts of the human spirit and mind. That's what spiritual practice has brought into my life. I bring this up because this kind of "travel" highlights one of the biggest mysteries of being human: "Why the heck do we mistreat ourselves?" Why is our self-talk so...trash? Is there an evolutionary reason? A spiritual reason? Now, exploring that would make a great book!
