jotem asked this question about The Conditions of Will:
is there any reason for the use of Catholic symbolism on this cover and the cover of the second book in the magnolia parks series? does the plot relate to this theme in any way or is it just the use of religious symbolism for purely aesthetic purposes? i read magnolia parks but i don't remember if there were faith themes there. i was too focused on the fact that it was one of the worst books i have ever read.

The main character, Georgia, grew up in a very small town in South Carolina, where they were very religious. It just talks about navigating her own Christianity, and her family's. It was very good and well talked about throughout the book, it is very true and connected to how certain families in the south talk about Christianity. (less)
