Goodreads asked Richard Bach:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Richard Bach Never acknowledge that it exists. You're not a writer, you're a re-writer!

Write as fast as you can, don't care about mistakes, don't think about a poor sentence. Get it down now, and then later will you come back to it, your chisel and hammer in your hands, cutting, shaping, smoothing, filing, sanding till it's perfect.

No matter what we write today, tomorrow it will be improved by cutting. Try every word -- Do I need this word, this sentence, this paragraph? The more we cut, the more graceful the more powerful is our writing!

When your Fog Index begins at 10 or 11, cut it down to 5 or 6. You will love the cutting you've done!
