My first book, "The Evolution of Life: Big Bang to Space Colonies" was researched and written to answer questions I had. I wanted to fill gaps in my own education. That book inspired me to write, "Outbound: Islands in the Void". In 'Islands' I wanted to explore how humans might survive and recover from an Earth climate disaster. Would space settlements play a role by providing raw materials for manufacturing, models for environment repair, social, and economic solutions?
