Lena Dunham:
How many pillars of strength do you have helping you navigate through life? I mean people who are there for you always who you can lean on when you're out of your comfort zone. Did publishing your book put you out of your comfort zone? Do you have a therapist?

I am VERY lucky in that I have a strong nuclear and extended family, amazing friends from both childhood and work and an awesome long time therapist (not to mention a cool feminist boyfriend and a crazy dog.) Their support means everything to me, which is why I am really trying to outdo myself in the gift department this xmas. I hope I can show them the love and support through out their lives that they have show me in the last year alone.

I admire your use of raw details when it comes to the human experience. Was there any meaningful topic or person you found that you wanted to keep for yourself and therefore left out of your book? If so, why was it so important for you to hold onto this memory? p.s. I directed you to the burrito stand at Merriweather during the Fun. concert. You were so lovely and turned my entire day around.
