Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lena Dunham I was initially inspired by Helen Gurley Brown's book Having It All, a guide to life for women in the 80s. While I don't claim to be a model of perfect behavior, I liked how she shared her own mistakes in the service of educating other and I thought I COULD DO THAT! My mother always calls bad experiences "grist for the mill." So I suppose this book is the mill?
