Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Caroline Gerardo I am fascinated by science and the natural world. I own property in Wyoming and California and drought has caused me to plan to live without depending on municipal sources. I have been an organic gardener all my life, even have rose patents for roses that can survive without sprays or fussing. My novel in progress is set in a world after "The Great Drought" the lack of rainfall is one of the bad guys in the story.
