I read about the poet Else Seel who lived in Berlin and came to Canada in 1927 (a true story!) where she married a trapper on the second day she met him. She lived with him in a cabin in the Canadian wilderness. I sent a present-day heroine to travel in her footsteps and to discover some secrets about her own dead husband`s life.
