I don't have anything else planned for the Wide Awake series. Which is a shame. Wide Open is my absolute FAVORITE book of mine that I've ever written. I miss Milo and Maya so much, but there story ended perfectly and I don't think I should go and open it back up again. I might see a novella for Valentine's or Christmas with the whole gang one day, but that was a very emotional series. If you read the Thank You's in the back, you know that I don't write or read 'cancer' and gut-wrenching books. I read to escape, not to make myself feel worse :) To each his own, and this is why I read. So I write the sweeter stuff for people like me. This series was my one chance to write something a little different, a little darker, a little more mature, a little more rough, but I enjoy writing my normal YA stuff much more. I don't enjoy crying while writing :)
I do hope you enjoyed it! To this day, it's still my favorite book and I find myself going back to re-read a little bit here and there of Milo and Maya because I miss them.
