How do you get inspired to write?

A.R. Ivanovich My writing inspiration is directly tied to music. I slip on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, pick a song that suits the tone of the scene I'm writing, hit play, and write! The genre of the music and the lyrics don't have to fit the theme of my world, the important thing is the feeling the song gives me. I rarely write without a musical accompaniment.
