Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Judith Arnold I love old rock-and-roll. I have fond memories of going to diners, inserting coins into jukeboxes and getting not just to hear songs, but to impose my songs on everyone in the diner. Or other people would pop in their coins and subject me to their music. It was a sharing experience. Someone would choose the song, and we'd all listen in. Like most novelists, I started playing "What if?" What if a jukebox could play songs that would make people fall in love? The Magic Jukebox series just took off from there.
