Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Peter Diggins Funnily enough when I read Enid Blyton and CS Lewis as a child I always wanted to go somewhere else, somewhere magical.

As an adult, the appeal of the Wishing Chair, the Faraway Tree and Narnia was replaced by wishing to be transported to magical lands more like you'd find in Middle Earth, Faerun or Westeros.

Of course that got me thinking, "What would really happen if...?" and so that idea became 'Outsider'.
