I am very inspired by other media. I tell friends and fans you can tell what songs I am listening to when you read the book as you see a lot of fragments of lyrics or imagery from songs. I feel this book and its follow up Requiem that I hope to have published this summer take a lot of inspiration from reading the Fear Street books and video games like Silent Hills.
