Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jenn Mara I never planned to write Selene Falls as a series of stories with in a larger story. I had joined a writers group on a discord server. I had previously been a music journalist and a librarian among other jobs and I had given up writing for a number of years. I was out of practice so I started writing short stories again. What became the opening story "Nothingness" was part of another piece I was working on at the time. I didn't realize until the last 50 pages or so this was actually a story about Silas Hawthorne who became the main character, so I had to restructure a lot of the book.
