Bobbie C. Thompson With the release of Alana's book we attended the 2012 Southern Comfort Conference. I was invited to attend the 'spouses' meeting. I was the ONLY WIFE in the room who could openly talk about their transgender spouse.

The common concern with all the other wives was not having someone to talk to about their experiences. So, I decided to share my experiences, which could serve as a resource ... not only for other wives of transfemales, but also as a resource for non-transgender persons who have an interest in learning more ... and as a resource for therapists, etc.
