I deal with writer's block by playing the piano. It gives me a creative outlet without my getting frustrated with my writing. I also sound ideas off my friends, my mother, and my children. Sometimes I'll even pose a question on Facebook and get the input from strangers, especially if I'm dealing with an 'either/or' situation in the plot.
