My most recent book is Rotate the Earth and is my first post-apocalyptic novel. It was inspired in part by Death Race 2000, Mad Max and even The Hunger Games. Plus, driving in Chicago makes you want to destroy the other drivers and I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like if that were legal.
