What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Cheyenne Sioux The best thing about being a writer is to express my heart and be able to show others they aren't alone. I found that growing up, reading became an escape for me when I faced challenges in life and poetry especially helped to show me that there were others who experienced similar pain as I did. It made me feel less alone and sometimes, helped me to make sense of things I hadn't yet processed for myself.

It truly inspired me to be able to do that for others too.
