Megumi answers “Do I need to read book 1 to appreciate...”

Genna asked this question about The Love Wager (Mr. Wrong Number, #2):

Do I need to read book 1 to appreciate book 2? Or are they completely different?

Megumi I have not read Mr. Wrong Number yet. The main characters from that one do show up but this one can be read as a stand alone.
