Rose Rosetree:
Hi Rose, If it isn't too personal to ask, I wanted to know more about your most recent book: "Seeking Enlightenment in the Age of Awakening." How long have you been interested in writing about this topic?
Rose Rosetree
Horatio, it's great to hear from you. In a sense, as an author I have always and mainly been writing about this topic.
Which topic? "Using your full potential in life." Also known as "Spiritual Enlightenment."
Exactly this purpose is what writing personal growth books means to me, whether you call the genre self-help or spiritual or spirituality or whatever other name you might have for books with that intent: Might the reader authentically grow as a result of reading that book?
Basically, Horatio, I've written about "How to Live THAT full potential in life" ever since self-publishing my first book, listed here in its current edition as "The NEW Power of Face Reading."
UNPACKING YOUR EXCELLENT QUESTION, HEY!
Horatio, you and other Goodreaders are definitely invited to ask some follow-up questions that -- to me -- are embedded in your origional question here. For example:
* Why were you interested in writing about "Seeking Spiritual Enlightenment"?
* Why would your book title include something as controversial as the Age of Awakening? (Realistically speaking, that's such a turnoff for many readers today, so why risk it?)
* Do you think the pursuit of Spiritual Enlightenment is different now since the Shift into the Age of Awakening on Dec. 21, 2012?
So much to discuss. Thanks again, Horatio, for supplementing my books with these Ask the Author Questions.
