Goodreads asked Hadley Vega:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Hadley Vega I take my ass to the library and shut my phone off. Old school. I walk up and down the aisles between the bookshelves pulling out random titles and covers that catch my eye and read as many back covers as I want. I usually leave with a few borrowed. This has never failed me.
In his book, On Writing, Stephen King shares, “If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There's no way around these two things that I'm aware of, no shortcut.” “If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”
