Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.B. Martin I have been toying with the idea to write a book for several years. Last year (2022), I really immersed myself into reading and I was like "I need to start my book and get it out there". I've dealt with a lot of traumas my entire life but the most significant was in my childhood. I wanted to capture that with the MFC. I made her background similar to mine in effort to reach those who have suffered in a similar way. I began writing this novel as a form of therapy to rid myself of the demons tucked away inside my mind. My hope is that readers will be immersed into my world and come out feeling hopeful and full of purpose.
