It's a historical mystery story called The Shakespeare Plot: Assassin's Code. I wanted to marry the world of Shakespeare with the sinister world of spies and plots. I did some research and discovered a plot against Queen Elizabeth I in 1601 that indirectly involved Shakespeare and his acting troupe, the Lord Chamberlain's Men. That sparked the idea for this story.
