How do you get inspired to write?

Patrick Moore I find that reading other books is one of the best ways to get inspired to write. There's something about immersing myself in other people's stories and ideas that sparks my imagination and gives me new ideas for my own writing. Reading also helps me improve my writing by identifying writing styles that I like or don't like, and I use this knowledge to enhance my own writing. Furthermore, seeing the incredible things other writers have achieved through their work motivates me to keep working hard towards my own writing goals.
