Goodreads asked Meghan March:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Meghan March First thing I always do when I start to struggle with a plot or a character is take my dog for a walk in the woods. Something about nature will usually knock it loose. If that doesn't work, I curl up with a good book and read. If I'm lucky, I won't be able to concentrate on the story because my characters will start chattering in my head (and I wonder - for the millionth time - if I'm crazy). If neither of those things work, I just pack it up and go shopping. It doesn't really help with writer's block, but it helps my shoe collection.
