I've written about this topic and published it on my blog. One of the reasons why being a writer is the best thing for me is I can play god. If the real world wants to mold me into this particular person, in my novels, this pressure lifts off my shoulders and leaves me. I'm free to create whatever I want without disrespecting the characters I talk to.
