I just want to tell you how much I'm enjoying your Crown of Stars series. I'm on volume four, Child of Flame. The story is incredibly engaging and I've become so invested in the characters. You have done a wonderful job of creating this very "round" world where you see events from so many different angles. There is no single answer for anything. Is the series still in print or will it be reprinted?

Natalie,
Thank you SO MUCH. I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the story and the characters. I invested so many years in writing the series. In the USA, DAW Books does have a trade paperback (larger format paperback) in print. I don't know if many bookstores carry it on their shelves, but I know it can be ordered at B&N and at indie bookstores. If you are in the UK/Commonwealth region, there should be print editions of the series available with Orbit UK.
Again, thank you for your kind words. Kate Elliott

When Liath walked the spheres in Child of Flame, I was excited and extremely fascinated to find that her accounts matched my notes on the Kabalah splendidly! My personal notes came from the only book on the Tree of Life I've yet read, which was Dion Fortune's "Mystical Qabalah," published in 1935. I've been very curious... which book/s (if any) did you reference on this topic of the seven palaces/ spheres?

I get the feeling that Perse is like Ptolemy but I don't have a good feeling where her rival is going to end up (i.e. either causing Sun's assassination or causing the collapse of her empire after she's gone). Anyway, I enjoyed both books. How close are you going to follow Alexander's footsteps in writing these books?
