What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Mario Zecca Why my father left when I was 18 months old I met him once. But at the time my curiosity was quite tame. He did tell me the reason for leaving was he couldn't handle the responsibility. He got involved with counterfeiting and did some prison time. He owned a gas station and had a large multi-floored suburban house. His busty daughter, my blood half sister, who has never contacted me, drove a sky blue cadillac convertible. But I don't know much else. I think his life would make a good novel. Of course I am free to make up the details if I write it.
