Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lawrence Nault The theme of Fingerprints In The Water is ocean pollution and microplastics. While microplastics have been in the spotlight recently, the larger picture often gets overlooked. Our oceans are home to five massive garbage patches, swirling monuments to our collective impact. It felt like a powerful issue for young people to confront—and a natural fit for the youth-led, eco-fiction focus of the Draconim series.
