I'm reading The Spare Man, and I'm appreciating that you have a protagonist who has a disability (disabilities) and deals with chronic pain. Is this an #ownvoices book?

My pain is not chronic, but I had a back injury when I was doing puppetry full time. As long as I remember to do my physical therapy, it is not a problem.

If someone is interested in a career as a narrator, how would you recommend they begin? Education? Workshops? It's something I've been interested in for many years, but have no idea how to pursue it. Do you have any tips on things to avoid, or pitfalls? Or advice at all?

Hi Mary! First of all I wan't to thank you of your work in writing excuses, which, (especially your advices) has led me to understand and love writing in a whole new level. So thanks, you're awesome! Could you recommend a book with believable romance between characters, that they start as strangers? I've never read "romace" books, but know I' need to learn for my own story, and also I think I'm ready for new genre.
